Information Technology and Cyber Security Department Background
According to the meeting of the Government of the Union of Myanmar No. (2/2015) held on 15 January 2015, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology; Department of Information Technology and Cyber Security was established by the Office of the Minister in Order No. (9/2015). It was established on April 1.
National Cyber Security Center is one of the six divisions of the Department of Information Technology and Cyber Security. It was also established on April 1.
National Cyber Security Center puts efforts in creating a secure cyber environment between Government entities and Public, giving access of e-government and online services securely and creating a trusted cyber Security Space in line with evolving technologies.
